INFRASTRUCTURE
I believe that it is possible to take the lead in the 21st century with smart public infrastructure investments. I will target matters involving Wayne County's roads and bridges; the county's building needs, and the county's parks and recreation including the Family Aquatic Center at Chandler Park, Warren Valley and Inkster Valley Golf Courses.
JOBS
I believe that it is possible to restore year-round, good paying jobs throughout Wayne County. I will converse with business in located in other countries, such as Canada and West Europe and converse with community leaders to walk through the steps to bring new job investment here to Wayne County including employment opportunities for seniors, teens, military veterans and ex-felons.
In the meantime, let's get Wayne County back employed fixing our roads and bridges, rebuilding and improving neighborhoods and working together to build better connections with others. Outside businesses will invest after observation that our citizens care about their communities.
FAMILY
I believes that it is possible to effectively analyze and innovate county departments. I will build a passionate first-class team with labor, business, and members of the community to pledge improvements in family and youth services throughout Wayne County.
ENVIRONMENT
I understand the importance of bring new "green" concepts directy to our county right now. I will promote smart, cost-effective solutions within the first elected-term to improve the quality of life for every citizen, tourist and visitor of Wayne County, Michigan.
PUBLIC SAFETY
I believe that it is possible to take preventive action before responsive action is needed. I will champion new investment in crime-fighting tools and training including improved public street lighting, gunshot detection sensors to alert local police in the county high-crime areas and volunteer officers to assist with peace and security needs.
Investments in crime-fighting tools such as improved lighting and training of volunteer officers for community patrol equals lower home and auto insurance rates thus, reassuring citizens that Wayne County is always there when you need us most.
BUSINESS
I believe that it is possible to improve the relationship between Wayne County, businesses, and all other parties involved. I will work to streamline procedures and enact policies to help businesses grow strong in our county.
